Travel Flag

As part of the Green Schools, we are currently working towards our travel flag.

The aim of the travel flag is to encourage pupils, teachers and parents to travel to school in a green way such as cycling, scooting or walking.

If you live far away maybe you could drive to a certain place and then walk the rest of the way. This is called Park and Stride. It cuts down on traffic around our school in the morning.
 

In 2021, the children came up with and designed some of their own travel code mottos. 

We decided to pick two of the children's travel codes and put them together to make our new motto. A massive well done to Mathhew in 6th Class and Cal in 1st Class.

This is our Travel Code:

"If you walk to school you are cool" and "if you walk you rock!"
