St Aidan's National School located on the North Sligo and Leitrim border has educated children for generations. The school is a two teacher school with a Special Education Teacher, plus a Special Needs Assistant (SNA). It is located beneath Benwiskin mountain and is a happy and peaceful environment in which our children are nurtured and educated.
We in St Aidan’s are proud of our high standards of academic achievements down through the years.
The small school community ensures that the children are all known to each other and frequently share learning experiences. The older classes play and interact with their junior colleagues and look out for them in our school playground.
The school teaches the full spectrum of the primary school curriculum including ICT and an additional foreign language.
The unique size of the school makes it easier to have a big involvement in extra circular activities.
