Our school proudly took part in Maths Week 2025.
Throughout the week, the children engaged in a wide variety of hands-on, practical, and appropriately challenging maths activities designed to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. Pupils explored problem-solving tasks, teamwork-based puzzles, and real-life maths challenges across all class levels.
We also brought maths beyond the classroom by incorporating outdoor maths activities and linking maths with other subjects, including visual art and physical activity. These cross-curricular experiences helped show the children how maths is part of everyday life and can be discovered all around us.
It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, curiosity, and growing confidence as pupils tackled each new challenge.
We look forward to continuing to build on this momentum with engaging and challenging activities to keep the spark for maths alive.
