Halloween 2025
Our school was full of excitement and laughter as the children took part in a range of fun Halloween activities.
Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed bobbing for apples, testing their skills and determination, and taking part in the ever-popular “Wrap the Mummy” game, where teamwork and speed were put to the test. There were lots of giggles as teams worked together to create their best mummy designs.
The children also sampled barmbrack [báirín breac], keeping a close eye out for the hidden fáinne, which brought great excitement to those lucky enough to find it. Creative stations were set up for witches’ potion making, where pupils mixed spooky ingredients to create their own magical brews.
To top it all off, everyone made a fantastic effort with Halloween dress-up, with a wonderful variety of costumes on display. It was a joyful, activity-filled day that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. 🎃👻
